Important Notes to Prospective Authors.
Prospective authors of accepted papers should prepare the final camera-ready manuscripts with strict compliance to the instructions given in the section of "Information for LNCS Authors" on Springer's LNCS website. You can find the necessary templates and macros to create your papers in the format required for the series.
A pdf file of Authors' Instructions for the Preparation of Camera-Ready manuscript to LNCS/LNAI Proceedings can be download by clicking here.
Each accepted paper is limited to a maximum of 12 pages and must not violate the LNCS typesetting requirements. An over-length page charge of US$100 per extra page will be imposed, but it is also limited to 15 pages in total. Note that if authors squashed his or her paper by removing vertical spaces or changing font sizes, etc., then the paper will be reformatted and the final pdf will cover more pages than the original. In the case, the authors will be charged with penalty.
Finally, if none of the authors is mother-tongue English we would recommend that you ask a mother-tongue colleague to proof-read the paper and make suitable improvements. This will greatly speed-up proof-reading by the editorial and publishing board later on.
Please check you have the following in one compressed file before submitting your camera-ready manuscript:
- Source (input) files, e.g. TEX files for the text and PS or EPS files for the figures,
- RTF files (If you have prepared your contribution using a text processing system other than LaTeX or TeX),
- Any style files, templates, and special fonts you may have used,
- The final DVI file (for papers prepared using LaTeX or TeX),
- The final PS file (not in reverse order),
- The PDF file of the final version of your manuscript,
- The completed and signed copyright form.
If supplementary material is available, please provide us with
- A short description of the supplementary material,
- The supplementary material or the URL at which it can be found,
- The files of color figures for the electronic version.
Important notice: due to the tight schedule, we require that you submit your final paper along with necessary materials such as signed copyright form in two weeks, by June 14. You will find detailed information beyond what is provided in this mail at the conference web page soon.
Important notice: for each paper accepted to ACSAC 2007, at least one author MUST register and MUST attend and present his/her paper. If you are a student author you still have to do a full registration (you can't use Student-registration fees). The registration form will be announced at the conference web page soon.
